Benefits

The SkillsFuture Study Award for Retail Sector supports early to mid-career Singaporeans who want to deepen skills and knowledge as well as advance their career in the jewellery industry. The JDMIS Fine Jewellery Design Diploma and Advanced Diploma are on the pre-approved list for the Retail SkillsFuture Study Award - which you can apply for via SkillsFuture. After the courses, the recipents of the award are well-trained with the necessary skills and knowledge and are competent in the job required for retail management in the jewellery industry.

Study award recipients will receive S$5,000 to defray course-related fees. You can use this in addition to existing government course fee subsidies. No bond is required. You can apply before you take the course, or once you have started the course (for example if you start the course on a part-time, modular basis.) You should simply ensure you have submitted your application before you complete the qualification. The grant is not guaranteed and is subject to Enterprisesg approval. You will need to keep all invoices and submit them to Enterprisesg to draw down your claim, if approved.
